Stamp Expo 2014

South India Philatelists’ Association is organizing ‘Stamp Expo 2014’ from July 25 to July 27, bringing in a collection of over one lakh stamps of India and other countries. The expo will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Shiraj Hall, next to Albert Theatre, 14, Whannels Road (Near Egmore Railway station), Egmore. Entry is free.
Nearly 45 stalls of stamp dealers from various parts of the country, including Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata will be showcased. Priceless stamps of British India era to the present day are to be put up for sale.
The Department of Post will sell Indian stamps including releases on the occasions.
