Steep increase in the number of drunk and drive cases in T.N

It has been found that there is a distinct increase in the total number of drunk and drive cases in Tamil Nadu. Considering 2013, over 15,563 individuals lost their lives in the state. Out of this massive count, most cases are drunk and drive ones. Shockingly, women in metro cities are penalized and their driving licenses were cancelled for having drunk during travel.
It is to be noted that over 267 licenses were cancelled before 5 years owing to drunk and drive cases.
