Traffic diversions & changes in Chennai city on 24th & 26th January!

The office of the Chennai Police Commissioner has made a press release on the traffic diversions in the city on Republic Day:
Republic Day celebrations are conducted in Kamarajar Salai near the Mahatma Gandhi statue.
Because of this, due to the rehearsals on 24th January and republic Day on 26th January, certain traffic changes are made:
No vehicles will be allowed to operate between Light House & War Memorial on these 2 days from 6.00 AM till 10.00 AM.
Freight & commercial vehicles proceeding from Adyar to Broadway which usually take Kamarajar Salai will turn from Greenways Road junction to R K Mutt Road, V K Iyer Road, Devanathan Street, St Mary’s Road, R K Mutt Road, Luz junction, Luz Church Road, Karpagambal Nagar, Sivasamy Road, Royappetttah High Road, Royappettah Clock Tower, Whites Road, Smith Road, and Anna Salai towards Broadway.
Vehicles including MTC buses other than fright & goods proceeding from Adyar to Broadway can move via Santhome High Road, will divert at the Kutchery Road junction and then through Kutchery Road, Luz Junction, Karpagambal Nagar, Sivsami Road, Royppettah High Road, Royappettah Clock Tower, Whites Road, Smith Road, Anna Salai, and then to Broadway.
Bus route 27D proceeding to Gandhi Statue will be diverted at the Radhakrishnan Road, VM Road, and Royappettah junction, Luz Junction, RK Mutt Road, Mandavelli Junction, South Canal Bank Road, Srinivasapuram to Pattinappakkam.
Route no 21G will be diverted via Royappettah High Road, Royappettah overbridge, Royppettah Clock Tower, Whites Road, Smith Road, and Anna Salai.
Routes 45B & 12G are diverted via Royappettah High Road, Royappettah overbridge, Royppettah Clock Tower, Whites Road, Smith Road, and Anna Salai.
Vehicles proceeding from Radhakrishnan High Road to Gandhi Statue will be diverted viq Natesan Road Junction, Natesan Road, Avvai Shanmugam Road.
Vehicles proceeding from Dr Natesan Road & Avvai shanmugam Road Junction towards Kamarajar Salai will be diverted to Ice House Junction.
Vehicles proceeding from Dr. Besant Road to Kamarajar Salai will be diverted via Besant Road Circle towards Ice House. Vehicles proceeding from Bharathi Road & Bells Road towards Kamarajar Salai will be diverted to Bells Road junction towards Bells Road.
Vehicles (except MTC buses) approaching the Statue of labour will be diverted to Bells Road. MTC buses will be allowed up to Canal Road junction.
Anna Square bus stop will be temporarily shifted to near Wallaja Road Guest House.
Vehicles operating from Parry’s Corner/Rajaji Road towards Adyar will be diverted near the Reserve Bank subway towards Raja Annamalai Mandra, Wallaja Point, Anna salai, Anna Statue, USIS Service Road, Cathedral Road, Dr. Radhakrishnan Road, Karaneeswarar Pagod Street, Santhome High Road and then to Adyar.
No vehicles will be allowed from Wallaja Point & Anna Salai junction towards War memorial.
