New aero hub along Chennai-Bengaluru corridor

The union budget never had a word about the Chennai Bangalore Industrial Corridor (CBIC), however the necessary efforts are on the go. During the recently held submit which was organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here in Chennai, it was said that the state government is creating an aerospace hub alongside of the corridor.
In our country, the Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad region is referred as an aerospace triangle. The aerospace manufacturing capabilities of our nation are growing high, said a senior official of Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation.
He also added that the necessary studies were carried out to figure out the possibility of techno-economic feasibility. The subject of CBIC was suggested during the budget meet last year which was presented by UPA led government intending to enhance trade and economic development.
