Chennai city hoardings and wall arts found in different places are not much creative that’s noteworthy. But why can’t this change? Large spaces found everywhere could be turned a place of attraction. For instance, the pillars of Chennai Metro Rail can be considered. The stretch running between Koyambedu and Alandur can be filled with various names of flora and fauna, according to suggestions by Prakash Vaidyanathan, a self-employed science tutor. If this comes to practice, thousands of children in the city will be hugely benefitted. He says he has been trying to approach the Chennai Metro Rail Ltd to discuss about this for quite some time.

This idea is also endorsed by environmentalists as it will be a nice method of using environment in a smart way. Those living in the city do not have any exposure to wetlands or forests, and they in no way get a chance of knowing beauty of such places. This can be changed by drawing paintings of plants and animals in places like metro rail. When this idea is practiced, the city will have open museums to know the history of their own city.
