LPG Cooking gas subsidy can applied till June-Aadhar card not required!

There are 1.51 Crores customers for cooking gas in Tamil Nadu. Out of this, 1.25 Crore customers have been linked through bank accounts. This is about 86%.
In the beginning, it was informed that Aadhar card must be produced for getting subsidy. As the public faced some difficulties in getting Aadhar cards, the rule was relaxed and it was informed that bank savings account number is enough. The deadline for this concession was over yesterday (31st March).
Till yesterday, subsidy was given to the customers who did not give Aadhar card or bank account details. Cylinders were sold at market price. Subsidy was later credited to the bank.
Other customers can buy LPG cylinder at a market price of Rs. 605/-.
Now, the deadline till June has been set for the customers who do not have Aadhar card but have bank savings account.
Nobody can join this scheme after July.
So, those who do not join this scheme will have to buy LPG cylinders only at market price without any subsidy.
