Heavy rains forecasted in North Tamil Nadu

Right from the day Agni Nakshatram commenced, severe heat wave conditions are prevailing in Chennai and in other districts of Tamil Nadu. As a relief from this, the Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be rains today.
Official of Meteorological Centre said, “Within next 24 hours, there will be heavy rains with thunder and wind in some parts of Tamil Nadu due to Heat convection. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition would be partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 40 and 29 degree Celsius respectively.”
