All shops to be closed in Tamil Nadu on Thursday

Following the demise of the former President of India Abdul Kalam, all the shops and establishments in Tamil Nadu will be closed on 30th on account of the funeral. According to national vice-president of the Confederation of All India Traders A M Vikramaraja and Tamil Nadu Vanigar Sangam, T Vellaiyan, all shops and establishments should be closed from 6 AM till the funeral rites are over. A silent procession should be made to honour the late President.
