Thirupathi management decides to sell 10,800 tickets online

In a conference recently held, Mr Sambasivarao, an authority at the Thirupathi Devasthanam said over 10,800 tickets priced Rs 300 each will be made available for sale online for the special event called Thuvadhasi Dharisanam at the Thirupathi temple.
 
In each of the Vaishnava shrines, Vaigunda Yegadhesi and Thuvadhasi Dharisanam will be held twice a year - beginning of the year and at the end. The first of these took place during January this year. The second one is scheduled for 21st and 22nd of this month. A conference was held to discuss about the required preparations for the special eve.
 
The Chief Executive Officer of the dhevasthanam, Sambasivarao, speaking at the discussion, said that the Vaigunda Yegadhesi and Thuvadhasi Dharisanam are to be held at Thirupathi. Owing to these, devotees will throng in to the temple on these dates. The online advance booking for these dates at a price of Rs 300 will begin at 11 am on Wednesday (Yesterday). Over 10,800 tickets will be sold online. Those who have booked the tickets online will be allowed for the Dharisanam between 1 pm and 9 pm on the day of Thuvadhasi Dharisanam. We have decided to let 1200 devotees inside the temple every hour.
