Apple makes no-hack iPhone

While there were battles claiming that the FBI is stringent in sniffing into phones of San Bernadino attackers, there is a report stating that Apple is currently working on a new security feature which will disable government from breaking into locked iPhones.

According to a report in New York Times, engineers are currently trying to update security measures in their phones. If this turns to be a success, it will really be challenging for all the law enforcement agencies, even if the victory belongs to Obama`s administration in the fight for attaining access to iPhone data. The FBI may have to look for other ways to fight against Apple security, and set up new court fights once again.

Benjamin Wittes, one of the senior fellows with the Brookings Institution said they are ready for an arms race unless the congress takes a call on explaining the pleas in such situation.

Companies are always eager about software bugs and patched holes, targeting to secure their code from the hands of hackers. However, according to revelations by the government surveillance, retooling of products is being made to protect possible intrusions.

The FBI relies of tech company`s help to attain access to Syed Rizwan Farook`s phone and want the passcode protection disabled. They have temporarily withdrawn stating that such a move will be a threat to security and dangerous precedent.

The continual dispute between Apple and Justice Department regarding the level of access to digital communication for law enforcement and intelligence official has given rise to a never-ending debate.

The Justice Department has achieved a recent order in California federal court. James Comey, the FBI director has written that all that they need is a chance with a search warrant for them to try to identify the passcode without taking much time on identifying the correct one and without self-destructing the phone.
