After completing Marudhu, Vishal was supposed to don the lead role in a film titled Sandaikozhi 2. Sandaikozhi was a superhit film which was released in the year 2005. The film had Vishal, Raj Kiran and Meera Jasmine in the lead roles. The shooting of the film was to commence soon. At this juncture Vishal has mentioned that the film has been dropped.
