Plus 2 examinations begins tomorrow

Plus 2 examinations are beginning tomorrow. 8 Lakhs 82 thousands and 44 students are writing the examinations.
In Tamil Nadu, the plus 2 examinations are beginning tomorrow. The exams will be conducted till 1st April. In Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry 8, 39,806 students from 6550 schools are writing the examinations.
Like last year, this year also more girl students are writing the examinations. 4,47,891 girls and 3,91,806 males are writing the examinations. Apart from school students 42347 private students are writing the examinations.
35 examination centres have been set up in Pondicherry. 14,337 students from 135 schools will be writing the examinations. There are 2421 examination centres throughout Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
97 prisoners will be participating in the plus 2 examinations. They will be writing the examinations in Puzhal prisons.
Those who have studied all the subjects in Tamil need not pay examination fees. This year 5 Lakhs 56 thousand and 498 students will be writing the examinations in Tamil.
The administration has made elaborate arrangements in all centres. A number of special squads have been formed to prevent malpractices. All centres would be provided with police security.
Invigilators have been given the task of matching the photograph in the name list and hall ticket to prevent impersonation and tough action will be taken against those indulging in malpractices.
