Rajathanthiram was a heist movie. Nadunisi Naaigal fame Veera did the male lead role while Regina Cassandra paired with him. Ilavarasu, Aadukalam Naren, Ajai Prasanth are part of the cast. Amid had directed the film. Now the sequel to this film is being made since there was a good response for the part 1.
The movie was closed as if the hero surrenders by accepting his mistakes. Now the sequel begins for the movie right from that point. They are all set to commence the sequel in June. Senthil Veeramsamy, the producer of Rajathandhiram, who also acted as one of the villains in the film is directing the sequel while all the three lead actors Veera, Darbukha Siva and Ajai Prasad have also been retained in the second part. Instead of teaser, the makers have decided to release the first six minutes of the sequel on March 13.
