Eclipse in Chennai tomorrow

Globally, the eclipse begins at 4:49 IST and ends at 10:05 IST. In Chennai, the eclipse ends at 6:48 IST. The Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre will be making arrangements for the public to witness the total solar eclipse at Elliots Beach on March 9.
The centre will be setting up telescopes with suitable filters, solar goggles and Welder`s glasses at Elliots Beach from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
The centre has also advised the public to not look at the Sun directly, during partial or annular eclipse, without any eye protection.
It might lead to permanent eye injury or loss of eyesight.
