Prakash Raj had earlier remade a Marathi film in Tamil. This film was titled Dhoni and once again he remade the superhit Malayalam film Salt and Pepper. This film was remade in Tamil with the title Un Samayal Arayil. Prakash Raj is likely to remake Marathi film Natasamrat in Tamil. Recently, the national award winning actor is said to have watched Natasamrat at a special screening and immediately expressed his wish to remake the film under his own banner, Duet Movies. If all goes well, Prakash Raj will also be directing Natasamrat in Tamil and even reprise the role of Nana Patekar, who played as the protagonist in the original.
