Chennai city to be cooler for next five days

Chennaites who were boiling under the scorching heat can now relax for the next five days since the winds from the east - from the sea will continue to blow for the next five days and help keep the city relative cooler.
After touching 36°C continuously for three days from Sunday , the maximum temperature dropped to 35°C on Wednesday and fell again to 33.7°C. Met officials say it will continue to get cooler.
The rise in temperature is due to winds from the west. Right now, cool winds from the sea have been blowing in around noon.
