Possibility of +2 results by 9th May

Information has been gathered that the results of +2 examinations may be released earlier than usual, possibly on 9th May, due to the Legislative Assembly Elections scheduled to be conducted in the state.
As counting of votes and other election-related activates will be in full swing, it is decided it will not be proper that the results of the +2 examinations to be released during 2nd week of May as it will lead to a number of problems. In order to avoid this, it is expected that the results of +2 examinations may be released by 9th May.
+2 examinations in the state commenced on 4th March and got completed on 1st April.
391806 boys and 447891 girls from 6850 schools have written the +2 examinations.
Even as the +2 examinations were in progress, the activity of correction of answer sheets was commenced on 14th March.
60 centres have been set up for the correction of answer-sheets. The correcting activity commenced on 14th March. The correction of answer sheets for 2 subjects, Tamil & English, has been completed.
The correction of answer-sheets for subjects like Chemistry, etc will be taken up from 5th April.
The correction of answer-sheets for the last 2 examinations, for the subjects of Physics and Commerce, will be taken up from 6th April.It is planned to complete the correction activity by 20th April.
