Yawning also linked to empathy, says study

Research conducted by scientists at the Baylor University in Texas has said that there is a correlation between how much a person yawns and his or her propensity to empathise.
Researchers took a survey for 135 people. They measured psychopathic traits in them and deduced how well they (the participants) empathised with others. The group was shown videos of people laughing, yawning, and with expressionless faces. The more people empathised, they more likely they were to yawn. Researchers also found that there is a link between how likely you are to yawn and how well you know someone.
