Star cricket match teams and captains announced

In order to raise funds for constructing the Nadigar Sangam building a star cricket match is being organized on 17th April as per the decision taken in the association`s general body meeting recently.
There will be eight teams and each team will have six players. Interestingly, the teams have been named after popular districts of Tamil Nadu.
- Surya will be the captain of Chennai Singams team
- Vishal will be the captain of Madurai College
- Karthi will be the captain of Kovai Kings
- Jayam Ravi will be the captain of Nellai Dragons
- Vijay Sethupathi will be the captain of Ramnad Rhinos
- Jiiva will be the captain of Thanjai Warriors
- Arya will be the captain of Salem Cheetahs
- Sivakarthikeyan will be the captain of Trichy Tigers
From among actresses, Anushka, Trisha, Samantha, Kajal Agarwal and Nayanthara are being approached for brand ambassadors. Amitabh, Rajini and Kamal are to inaugurate the Star Cricket.
