Ugadi Asthanam at Tirumala

On occasion of the Telugu New Year Ugadi , Durmukhinaama Samvatsaram Ugadi Asthanam was organized inside the sanctum sanctorum of lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala.
The celebrations began with the Ekantha Thirumanjanam to the deities of Lord Malayappa swamy and His two divine consorts and Lord Viswaksena - the commander in chief of the army of Lord`s domain.
Panchanga sravanam was rendered to the deities mounted atop the golden Sarvabhoopala vahanam at Bangaru vakili at the pre-designated hour followed by Asthanam.
