India`s fastest train, running at 160 km per hour, Gatimaan Express, running between Nizamudeen & Agra, began services a few days ago.
Gatimaan Express has a whole lot of new facilities. The minimum fare is Rs. 690/-. Fare for Executive Class is Rs. 1500/-.
The train, running at 160 km per hour, covers the distance in 100 minutes.
Just as the practice in flights, food is served during the travel in the train. Both vegetarian & non-vegetarian dishes are served.
The passengers can select the preferred food items while booking the train ticket.The food cost will be added to the train fare and collected at the booking counter.

Once the passengers get into the train and are seated, juice is served. After some time, bread-butter-jam & fruit slices are served. After this, the food ordered by the passenger while booking will be served. Just before the final destination Agra is reached, tea will be served.
