BSNL effects a saving of Rs. 613 Crores

BSNL informed that it has managed to save Rs. 613 Crores by adopting various practices to conserve fuel usage. Further, BSNL informed that a large extent of saving of electrical energy was achieved.
BSNL explained that various energy safety and saving measures were implemented from April 2008 till March 2016. This has resulted in the saving mentioned above.
In order to reduce the consumption of electrical energy, BSNL started using electrical devices certified by BEE and implemented other similar procedures.
