The website Reddit has posted that there is a new setting in Chromebooks and hence, the popular operating system from Google, Google Chrome, is set run all Android Apps on the Play store.

Screenshots have been posted on the Reddit website by a user The WiseYoda. In the screenshot, one of the options in the setting allows the user to run Android Apps from the Play Store. However, this option disappeared from the screen soon. However, this can be an indication of the facility to be made available soon.

This will also make way for an unlimited number of Apps to be run on Google Chrome.
However, this is yet to be confirmed by Google/ It is expected more details will be known in the upcoming I/O conference in May.

Google engineers have been working on the plan for the last two years and the new single OS will be launched in 2017, although an early build could be revealed by 2016.

The new version will give Chromebook users access to the Play Store, and based on the latest screenshots this could happen pretty soon.

It is worth mentioning that Google launched two budget Chromebooks in May last year in India, priced at Rs 12,999 each, which were manufactured by Xolo and Nexian.
