How many have applied for engineering course so far?

With the expectations that the results for the 12th Standard around the 1st or 2nd week of May, the eager students have already started applying for joining engineering and medical courses.
Anna University has introduced the online application procedure from this year. The students have been applying online from 15th April.
The procedure is easy and simple. Use a computer with internet facility at home or in the browsing centre and register and send the application.
After the results of 12th Standard are announced, download the mark-sheet and send it to Anna University.
It has been announced that the mark-sheets can be sent until 10 days after the results of 12th Standard are declared.
Facilities have been made in all the E-service centres also to apply online for engineering courses.
Both boys and girls (students) throughout Tamil Nadu have started applying with great eagerness and enthusiasm.
Starting from 15th April, 120176 students have applied for engineering courses so far.
It is expected that this figure will cross 1.25 Lakhs today (Tuesday, 26th April).
61960 applicants have paid the application fees as well.
Anna University officials informed that the number of applicants for engineering courses will go up immediately after the declaration of 12th Standard examination results.
