KFC deploys robots as waiters

One of the world`s leading fast-food chain of restaurants, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), plans to deploy robots to serve its customers in its shops.
The plan, called original +, is set to be presented in the National Conference and Exhibition being conducted in Shanghai.
The robots are shaped with rectangular heads. These robots are named Du Mi.
The robots have been designed to perform various tasks including serving food items and collecting payments.
The robots are decked in red shirts and appear quite cute and charming.
This is the first-ever time when robots are to be deployed in the fast-food industry.
The leading Internet company Pide Duing introduced robots in the World Conference in 2015.
