Heavy rains in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu

Regional Meteorological Department has mentioned in the next 48 hours there will be heavy rains in the interior districts.
Though there was Kathri for the last five days, the intensity of the heat was very less. When an official of Regional Meteorological Department was asked about this, he said, Since there is moisture in the wind flowing from South and South West directions. The winds will blow for another two days. In Tamil Nadu there will be heavy rains in the next 48 hours due to heat waves. There will be mild breeze in Chennai. There are also chances of summer rains in some of the interior places in Tamil Nadu.
