Civil Services Examination 2015 - Result Declared

UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has released the final results of the Civil Services Examination for 2015.
UPSC conducts examinations every year for the high posts in IAS (Indian Administrative Service), IFA (Indian Foreign Service), and IPS (Indian Police Service.
In the last year Civil service examination, Tina Dabi secured the 1st rank. Attar Amir-ul Shari Khan secured the 2nd rank. Jasmit Singh secured the 3rd rank.
In Tamil Nadu, Saranya Hari secured the 1st place. She secured the 7th rank in the All india ranking.
The final results have been released based on the performance in the written test conducted in December, 2015 and the interviews conducted during March-May.
180 candidates were successful in IAS. 150 candidates were successful in IPS. 728 candidates were successful in Group A and 61 were successful in Group B examinations. Thus, a total of 1078 candidates were successful.
UPSC has a Facilitation Counter near Examination Hall in its campus. Candidates can obtain any information / clarification regarding their examinations / recruitments on the working days between 10:00 hours to 17:00 hours in person or over telephone Nos. 23385271 / 23381125 / 23098543.
Result will also be available on the UPSC. website i.e. www.upsc.gov.in. Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of Result.
