Thunder showers in interior parts of Tamil Nadu

Thunder showers are likely to occur over southern and interior parts of Tamil Nadu over the next couple of days. However, the forecast says that Chennai will not receive any rain.
The good side is that the temperature will be lower than 37 degrees Celsius in the city. Maximum and minimum temperatures between 37 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius have been predicted over the next week. Chennai will see cloudy skies.
Meteorologists say, Moist and humid winds blowing from either side of the southern peninsula from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal is likely to cause rainfall in the districts like Coimbatore and Madurai. A trough is extending from Vidharba through east of Bangalore to southern Tamil Nadu. It is likely to cause isolated showers. Chennai will not get rain but the southern parts are likely to get scattered thunder showers.
