Plus 2 candidates can apply for answer book copy and re- totalling from tomorrow

The examination department has announced that the Plus 2 candidates can apply for copy of their answer book and re-totalling on 17th May and 18th May.
Plus 2 public examinations commenced in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on 4th March and came to end on 1st April. It has been announced that Plus 2 results will be released on 17th May between 10.31 am and 11 am. At this juncture, Director of Examinations has mentioned: Candidates who wish to apply for answer book copy and re-totalling can apply through their schools on 17th and 18th May. Private candidates can apply through the examination centres. Only those who have applied for copy of answer books will be eligible for re-totalling. Those who have applied for copy of answer books should not apply for re-totalling of the same subject now. Time will be given for re-totalling after receiving the answer books copy.
What are the charges?
- Part 1-Language- Rs 550
- Part 2-English language- Rs 550
- Every other subject: Rs 275
Similarly for the revaluation of the answer sheet the following amount has to be paid in cash in the schools they have studied:
- Part 1 language, Part 2 Language-English: Rs 305
- For each biological subject: Rs 305
- For each other subjects: Rs 205
The acknowledgement slip should be kept carefully. Only with acknowledgement receipt number you can download the answer book copy and also the re-totaling results. The website details where the answer books can be downloaded will be announced later.
The temporary mark sheet can be downloaded in www.dge.tn.nic.in on 19th May.
Candidates can also obtain the temporary mark sheet from the school headmasters from 21st May.
