Students show immense interest on MBBS and BDS application

Application distribution for MBBS and BDS studies started yesterday. On the very first day, 6123 students have got applications. The first phase of counselling will begin on 20th June.
Application form distribution for the academic year 2016-17 started at 10 am yesterday. These are sold at five medical colleges
- Rajiv Gandhi government medical college
- Stanley government medical college
- Kilpauk medical college
- New government medical college at government estate
- Government dental college
Students come with their parents to get application forms from colleges. The last date for submitting these completed forms is 7th June.
Applications can be downloaded online. However, while getting directly, it is possible to get our doubts clarified. We also feel happy to get applications in person, say students.
The Director of Medical Examination (DME) Dr R. Vimala said 6123 individuals have received medical applications of which 1794 applications are by Chennaites. The rank list for medical studies will be issued on 17th June. The first phase of counselling will take place between 20th and 25th June. And the second phase of counselling will take place on 18th June. Student admission will take place based on counselling. Furthermore, officials are appointed to clarify doubts and queries asked by students.
