Smartphone sales down

During the quarter January-March, the sales of smartphones have gone down by 8,2 percent.
It is explained that the drop in sales is due to the failure of the smartphone manufacturing companies failing the expectations of the customers.
It may be noted that there was a remarkable increase in sales of the smartphones by 20 percent last year. However, it is gathered that the smartphone manufacturing companies have failed the expectations of the customers of features, especially the battery usage and higher volume levels.
Internal Data Corporation, which conducts research on sales of mobile phones, has informed that the number of customers switching from ordinary cell phones to the smartphones has come down considerably.
It is explained that the main reason for the reduction in the number of customers switching from a normal mobile phone to smartphone is that they have preferred to wait for the introduction of 4G smartphones in the market.
