Chennai Corporation Industrial Training Centre invites applications

Chennai Corporation has announced that students who are interested to join Chennai Corporation Industrial Training Centre should apply before June 20th.
Chennai Corporation Industrial Training Centre is functioning on behalf of the Chennai Corporation. Students who have passed 10th will be trained in this centre and they will be awarded NCVT certificates. Five courses are offered in this centre. Applications are invited for the following courses:

On the whole 193 students will be admitted.
Priority will be given to Chennai District schools and wards of Corporation employees. The remaining seats will be given to poor students of other schools according to the government rules. Courses will be offered free of cost. Students will be given free laptops, bus pass and uniforms. Apart from this the Chennai Corporation will give a monthly stipend of Rs 500. After the courses are over, jobs will be secured for the students in the leading companies.
Applications are given free of cost at Chennai Corporation Industrial Training Centre, Near Ice House Police Station, Lloyds Colony, K R Ramasamy Nagar, Royapettah, Chennai 14.
The minimum age to join the course will be 15 years and the maximum age will be 40 years.
Students should submit the filled in application on or before 20th June. Students who participate in the counselling which is to be held on 23rd June should produce the original school transfer certificate, cast certificate and marks list.
