6 members were elected from Tamil Nadu without any contest for the Rajyasabha.
Navaneethakrishnan, Vijayakumar, S.R Balakrishnan, and Vaidyalingam (all 4 ADMK), R.S Bharathi and T.K.S Elngovan (DMK) were elected fro Rajyasabha without any contest.
