Yoga training for 4500 persons in Chennai on 21st June

With the initiative taken by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 21st June was declared as the International Yoga Day.

With this year 21st June approaching, the central government has decided to celebrate the International Yoga Day in a grand manner.

It is the ambition of the prime minister Narendra Modi that not only the Indians but all the foreigners also must be made aware regarding Yoga.

As a part of the celebrations, the founder of Esha Yoga Centre, Jaggi Vasudev, has announced that 2 Crore children will be given free yoga training in the next 4 months.

Jaggi Vasudev has decided to observe the International Yoga Day this year in the city of New York, USA. He has arranged for special events on 20th and 21st June. A seminar on the topic, Yoga for stable growth will be organised headed by Satguru Jaggi Vasudev.

In a similar vein, free Yoga training sessions will be conducted for the Chennai residents as well.An inaugural programme, in this regard, was conducted yesterday (Sunday, 5th June) in Royappetta, presided by Satguru Jaggi Vasudev.

The vice-president of the Medical Council Dr, Brahmanandam, UGC (University Grants Commission) vice-president Devaraj and 1500 other persons participated in this inaugural programme.

Satguru Jaggi Vasudev informed the press reporters Yoga is a technology meant for the improved functioning of the human body. The changes brought about by adopting this Yoga technology is not in his (Jaggi Vasudev) hands or the associated Yoga organisations – it lies solely with the individual – this only will bring positive and beneficial results for the public.

He continued that in recent times, some 1700 young children and 9000 youngsters over the age of 18 have committed suicide. This is mainly because they had failed to properly understand the significance of life. I have discussed this with the Chief Ministers of 9 states and insisted on giving yoga training to children. Around 40000 teachers all over India have been given Yoga training. 6000 school students have been trained in Tamil Nadu.

2 Crore children will be given free Yoga training in the next 3 or 4 months. Yoga transcends factors like nation, language, religion, and culture. So, every person should derive the benefits of Yoga. The central government has taken elaborate measures to give yoga training to the public.

It has been planned to give Yoga training in 50000 places in America. 4500 persons will be given Yoga training in the Chennai  Through these people, plans have been made to train further 3 Lakh persons.
