53 percent employees prefer to work from home

A recent survey establishes that most employees prefer to work from their homes.
Randstad, a leading company providing the services of recruitment/staffing for companies, conducted this survey by enquiring 7500 employees.
53 percent of them prefer to work from their homes. Especially, the employees above 45 years of age have expressed this preference.
The balance 47 percent employees prefer to work in the office daily by commuting from their residences.
Randstad reports that the women employees work for 35 hours per week and the men work for 39 hours per week.
