Deepavali travel reservations - filled up within a few minutes

Southern Railways had announced the opening of the reservations for booking train tickets for visiting native places on the occasion of the Deepavali festival from today (Wednesday, 29th June).
So, long queues formed right from the early morning.
However, all the tickets were booked within a few minutes of opening the counter. Hence, the people who waited in the long queue has to return with disappointment.
Especially, the tickets to the southern districts got full within a matter of just a few minutes.
So, most of the people planning travel for Deepavali are now anxious as to how to make their journey.
Naturally, there is a strong public demand that additional trains must be run to cater to the extra crowd of passengers planning to travel.
