Banks will not function for 11 days during the month of July

Nationalized banks including State Banks will not function for 11 days during the month of July. The reason for this is bank employees strike, holidays (2nd and 4th Saturday, Sundays) and Ramzan festival (6th July)
Employees of State Banks and affiliated banks have announced that they will be on strike on 12th, 13th and 19th July. Moreover there will be 5 Sundays during the month of July. In view of the foregoing reasons, the banks will function only for 20 days during the month of July. Hence the bank authorities have requested its customers to plan early for bank and cash transactions.
