Rains expected in Tamil Nadu in the next 24 hours

Regional Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be rains in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours. There are sporadic rains in Karnataka and Telangana States due to South West Monsoon.
There was light shows yesterday evening in Chennai. An official of Regional Meteorological Centre while speaking said: There are rains in the neighboring states. There are rains in Tamil Nadu due to convection. There will be rains in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be cloudy.
