Department of primary education: Extension of deadline for approval to run primary schools

It has been announced earlier that the deadline for getting approval to start primary school (kindergartens) was 31st August.This has now been extended to 31st October.
A brief on the press release by the Director of Primary Education:
There are 1426 private primary schools for very young children (kindergartens) aged between 1.5 and 3.5 to take care of them and teach them through fun and games.
The school owners should submit applications furnishing certificates/details regarding the stable structure of the school building, health certificate, and fire-fighting certificate to the respective district primary education officer
However, only a few school owners have applied so far. Earlier, the last date for submission for approval was 31st July. Now, the Primary Education Director R. Elangovan has extended this up to 31st October.
