Renault Kwid gets price hike

During January this year, the price of Renault Kwid was increased. Now, the company has yet again announced upgradation of price in its hatchback model. This new model of Kwid will be priced higher of the range Rs 3000 to Rs 6000. It is to be noted that this small car model by Renault is among the most anticipated ones in 2015. Within just one year of launch, it has set a benchmark in this segment.
A price hike of Rs 3000 is observed with the basic version of Renault Kwid, and the price hike in the top-end RXT is Rs 6000. In spite of such price hike, Kwid still offers value for money proposition. Spacious cabin, Bluetooth and AUX connectivity, boot space of 300 litres, ground clearance of 180 mm, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, etc are among the features included in Kwid.
Renault Kwid gets powered from a 799cc engine, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 53.2PS of power, 72Nm torque which gets distributed to four wheels through a 5-speed gearbox. It comes with a 0.8 litre engine. Renault Kwid thus stands ahead as one off the cars with high fuel efficiency in the country.
