37 TN colleges among top 100 in India

Under the National Institutional Ranking Framework introduced by the ministry of human resource development, the list of top 100 Indian institutes is released. This consists of 37 colleges from Tamil Nadu, adding accolades to the state.
 
Loyola College in Chennai stands second. Among the top 20 are Ethiraj College for women, Madras Christian College and Women’s Christian College.
 
In terms of Research and Professional practice, Loyola College got 100 upon 100. This is among the parameters that decide rankings.
 
Speaking about this, M. Arokiasamy Xaviar, the Principal of Loyola College said that they are happy about the ranking. In the past 2 years, the works done on science researches have been excellent. We are focusing on quality research that are centred on people. We also have good placement, said M. Arockiasamy Xaviar, the Principal of Loyola College.
 
We feel grateful to stakeholders. In spite of having got recognized by multiple agencies in the past, this moment is truly proud. This adds value to our profile and aids in boosting our efforts.
