No harm for Tamil Nadu from the recent cyclone Mora

The recent depression formed over the Bay of Bengal has now intensified as cyclone Mora. This has led to stronger and faster winds blowing across in the coastal areas.

Because of this, the number 2 cyclone warning cones have been set up in the ports of Cuddalore, Thoothukudi, Ennore, Nagai, Pamban, and Puducherry.

In an announcement regarding cyclone Mora, the Chennai Meteorological Centre has notified that there are no harms to be caused by the cyclone in Tamil Nadu. The cyclone Mora will cross the coast of Bay of Bengal by tomorrow afternoon.

Presently, the cyclone Mora is located at 600 km from Kolkata. It is also informed that it may rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu due to the recent formation of a thermal convection.
