Prospects of rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain or rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours due to a low-pressure zone developed and stabilised over the Bay of Bengal.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that there is a depression zone formed and stabilized over the Bay of Bengal near the coastal Andhra and South Tamil Nadu areas.
This will lead to the prospects of rain or rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. There are prospects of rain or rain with thunder in the evening or night.
