Just a phone call, and the TTEs will attend to you

As the Railway Board has come up with an idea to distribute Closed User Group (CUG) mobile connections to TTEs, soon, Traveling Ticket Examiners will be at very close reach for rail passengers just with a phone call at times of emergency.
TTEs are those at-reach railway staff members who the passengers get in touch with at times of any emergency or troubles or unforeseen scenarios. Sick passengers get first aid from TTEs, and the officers stay vigilant about child trafficking and ensure utmost safety of passengers, reads a railway circular rolled out on 21st November.
Considering the varied responsibilities handled by the ticket checking staff members, the board has come up with this idea of distributing CUG connections. The monthly cap for this facility is Rs 300.
