Google Maps launches motorcycle mode in India

Motorcycle Mode has been introduced in the Android version of the Google Map App. Information is gathered that this feature has been added to some customers who use Google Maps (v9.67.1)
Earlier, modes like car, foot, and trains had been introduced as options. Now Motorcycle Mode has come into play. The screenshots of this new version can be seen on the Android Police Website.
This new feature Motorcycle Mode is extremely handy for the motorcycle riders – it will guide them by showing the ideal route. It is notable that the Motorcycle Mode facility is introduced in Google Map App for the 1st ever time in India.
In a recent interview, Google CEO Sundar Pichai had observed that the various facilities made by Google have been hugely popular in India.
The Motorcycle mode gives details such as the ideal route, the traffic conditions in the route, parking, etc. (this was available in the car mode introduced earlier).
It is gathered that in the 1st Phase of introduction, this feature has been offered to selected users and will be made available for all in course of time.
