Lucky draw for passengers who buy train tickets through BHIM App

The Ministry of Railways has taken a decision to increase the number of passengers who procure train tickets using the BHIM App.
Accordingly, for the passengers who book train tickets on the IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) website using the BHIM App or UPI (Unified Payment Interface), a monthly computerised lucky draw will be conducted and prizes will be given.
The lucky winners will be given the entire ticket fare booked by them as the prize. Thus, they will have free travel.
IRCTC has implemented this plan from November. The system will be in action for 6 months. The 1st 5 lucky draw winner will be announced soon. However, it has been indicated those who cancelled the booking subsequently will not be included in this lucky draw.
