60 Kgs of cake cut for Stalins birthday

March 1 is always an auspicious day for several of DMK party members and admirers of Mr M.K.Stalin.
For it is a birthday of the DMK party treasurer and former Dy.Chief Minister of the Tamil Nadu state. This time the DMK party treasurer celebrated his birthday by cutting a huge cake weighing 60 kgs to denote his 60th birthday at a small function arranged by the DMK party.
In the early hours of Thursday Mr Stalin and Mrs Durga Stalin who reached a star-hotel in Adyar, attired in silk clothes appeared on a dais specially decorated to celebrate the memorable event. DMK leader and Stalin’s father Mr M.Karunanidhi who presided over the function and the General Secretary of the Party Anbazhagan was present to grace the occasion.
It was an auspicious movement when Stalin and Durga Stalin exchanged garlands and Stalin tied a manglasutra. Durga Stalin and Stalin fell at the feet of the DMK leader and received blessings of his father.
Rajathi Ammal, Kanimozhi MP, Udayanidhi Stalin, T.R.Baalu MP, Dayanidhi Maran, Kalanidhi Maran, Durai Murugan, Ponmudi, and many other DMK men attended the function to grace the occasion.
Then Stalin and Durga Stalin also participated in a function organized by some of the DMK party members at the YMCA Grounds in Royapettah. Thousands of DMK party cadres, including youth wing members of the party gathered at the grounds. A special cake weighing 60 kgs which was placed on the stage was cut in the presence of DMK party members from all parts of the TN State.
