150 Holidays for schools in 2019: teachers/students delighted

In the coming year 2019, there are 150 holidays for the schools delighting the teachers and students.
Thus, there is a balance of 215 days. Even out of this, it has been permitted to declare 5 days as holidays due to rain or any local major events.
As per the prevailing rules, there must be 210 working days in all the government high schools for the classes from 1st Standard to +2. In case it happens to be lesser, some of the Saturdays have to be made working days.
In most of the schools, when the school is working on Saturdays, it is for half-a-day only.
In this scenario, in the calendar year 2019, 150 holidays have been counted!
The list or timetable for the school working days for the year 2019 has been prepared by the offices of the Primary Education. According to this list, the month-wise number of holidays are – January – 11, February – 7, March - 9, April -16, May -31, June -10, July – 7, August – 11, September – 14, October – 12, November – 8, and December – 14, making for a total of 150 holidays!
It has further been ordered to prepare the syllabus according to the above list of holidays. As per this timetable, the government schools have to function for 215 days out of the total of 365 days in the year. Teachers need to work on these days. Besides, permission is given to declare 5 days out of this due to reason such as rains or a local major festival/occasion. Naturally, this is an extreme delight for the teachers and students.
