Copies of +1 and +2 question paper formats to be distributed to the students

The State School Examination Board has ordered all the schools that the copies of the +1 and +2 question paper format to be distributed to all the students.

The Public Examination for the +1 and +2 classes are scheduled to be conducted next month (March).

A new examination system is being implemented from this year. As per this, there is a change in the total marks for each subject – earlier it was 200 marks for each subject until last year. Now, from this year, the aggregate for each subject will be 100 marks instead of the earlier 200.

Earlier, the languages were having 2 examinations (Papers #1 and #2 for English, Tamil, etc.). As for the +1 class, a new syllabus has been introduced.

Thus, the Public Examinations are conducted with a whole lot of changes/revisions. As per this, the Directorate of the Board of Examination had released the model of the question paper format on 3rd January. The new format of the question paper setting system was uploaded on the website - www.dge.tn.gov.in.

Subsequently, the State Examination Board had ordered that all the schools must be kept informed about this through the District Primary Education Officers.

However, several parents have complained that most of the students remain unaware of the new format of the question paper. As per this, the Director of the State Examination Board, Vasundhara Devi has made a new announcement, In this, it is mentioned that the new format of the question papers for the +1 and +2 classes has been uploaded on the website. All the schools must take a copy of this format from the net and distribute to each and every student of the relevant classes in the school.
