A special camp for the addition/deletion of names in the voters list on 23rd and 24th Feb

A special camp is being organized for the addition/deletion of names in the voters list at the polling booths in each legislative constituency.
As per the orders for the Indian Election Commission and the Tamil Nadu Chief Election officer the correction activities on the voters’ list was undertaken and completed and the final voters’ list was released on 31st January.
Voters were asked to check and conform whether their names are included. Presently, for those persons who have claimed that their names have been left out from the voters’ list, a special camp is being organized for 2 days on 23rd February (Saturday) and 24th February (Sunday) to include their names in the final voters’ list on all the polling booths in each of the Legislative Assembly Constituency.
The camp will function from 9.30AM to 5.30 PM. The public can use Form-6 for the addition of names and Form-7 for deletion. Form-8 for corrections in the names, and Form-8A for change of address in the same ward.
Further, for the facility to help the differently-abled persons, arrangements have been made to to take their identity details.
In case any of the differently-abled person had failed to register their names. They will be given Form-6A to fill up and submit.
So, both in order to facilitate the differently-abled voter to avail the avail the special arrangements and also by visiting the nearest polling booths, the public is requested to submit the voter ID details to the polling booth staff/officers.
It is also requested that all the all the approved political parties may appoint their representatives and offer their best cooperation and helping services and the public to avail this opportunity to complete their registration.
